Red Lake Rosie's Rescue, Inc. began in 2004 by a group of volunteers on the Red Lake Reservation in northwestern Minnesota who were concerned about domestic animals and their care in our nation. The group has incorporated has been granted 501 c 3 status as a nonprofit organization as of February 2006. A metro team of very active and talented members also provide support and networking. Our focus is on the following programs serving animals and their guardians:
- Neutering and spaying;
- Rescue of homeless dogs and cats;
- Temporary sheltering of rescued animals;
- Placement in adoption organization to find
forever homes;
- Education;
- Feeding and medical care.
